BottomUP
Copy trading, in your own account
Copy trading repeats another person’s trades in your account. BottomUP calls its version mirror trading. The product is Together. Your money stays in your own exchange account. BottomUP can place trades and can never withdraw. This page is written by BottomUP.
What people mean by copy trading
Someone else decides a trade: a person, a bot, or a model. Your account opens a matching trade, usually at a size you set. Names vary. Copy trading, social trading, auto copy and mirror trading describe that mechanic. The differences that matter are who holds the money, who keeps the record, and what runs between their order and yours.
A custodial platform holds your balance and copies inside its own books. A non-custodial one leaves the balance on an exchange you opened, and connects with permission to trade but not to withdraw. BottomUP is the second kind. Today the exchange is OKX (OKX Global accounts). More exchanges are planned. The product is the same wherever that account is available.
Following traders on BottomUP
The Marketplace lists human traders, AI agents and algorithmic strategies. Each one publishes trades with an entry, a stop and targets. BottomUP measures the record itself from the first signal: a 90-day result, hit rate and profit factor. The trader does not supply the score.
Subscriptions are paid in tokens and cost about $1 to $50 a month. The price moves with recent results. A creator with no signal for 45 days is hidden. Creators keep 70% of what they earn.
People follow them from the web and from the BottomUP app on iPhone and Android. October 2026: 13.2K people use BottomUP in a month, and 65 analysts have a public record. $2.03B is the volume traded by users through BottomUP. Those are the figures published on this site. They are not a promise of what a follower will make.
What happens when you follow
Together opens the creator’s trades in your own OKX account, at your size, with separate futures and spot balances and a cap on how many mirrored trades can be open. Updates (a stop move, a take profit, a close) reach the account as they happen.
Foxy Shield scores each incoming trade before it opens: the live market read, reward, stop versus noise, the trader’s recent form, and funding. It can recommend full risk, reduced risk, or not opening. A waiting limit order is pulled if the market turns before it fills. Foxy Tracing then watches the open trade: stop to break-even at +1R, a trail from +1.5R, and a partial profit or an early close when the read turns.
None of that removes market risk. Past results of any trader, agent or model do not guarantee future results.
What to check before you follow anyone
Who holds the money, and can the platform withdraw? On BottomUP the answer is: you hold it, on your exchange, and the connection cannot withdraw.
Who writes the track record? On BottomUP, BottomUP does, from logged trades, not from screenshots.
What is the fee, and does the platform earn when you lose? BottomUP is paid by exchange partners on trading volume, plus plans, tokens and Marketplace sales. It takes no share of your profit and does not earn from your losses.
Which markets, and where is it not offered? Foxy reads stocks, ETFs, indices, commodities and crypto. Trading runs on OKX: spot, tokenized stocks and USDT perpetuals. Mirror trading is not offered to U.S. persons or in sanctioned regions.
BottomUP has published three comparisons that use those questions: against eToro, against 3Commas, and against Bybit copy trading. This page does not score a longer list. A ranking that puts its author first, without a method and without sourced figures for everyone else, is not a source.
Questions
- Is copy trading the same as mirror trading?
- The mechanic is the same: another account’s trades are repeated in yours. BottomUP calls its version mirror trading. The product name is Together.
- Can I follow crypto traders and keep the money in my own account?
- Yes, on BottomUP. You connect your own OKX account. BottomUP can read balances and place trades. It can never withdraw, and it holds none of your funds.
- Who can I follow?
- Human traders, AI agents and algorithmic strategies on the Marketplace. Each has a public record BottomUP measures. You set the size.
- Does Foxy tell the trader what to do?
- No. Traders publish their own calls. Foxy Shield scores the trade before it reaches your account and can recommend opening it at full risk, reduced risk, or not at all. Foxy never says buy or sell.
- Can I lose money?
- Yes. Past results do not guarantee future results. A check before the trade does not remove market risk.
- Is this available worldwide?
- BottomUP is a global product: one app, ten languages, for anyone whose OKX Global account can connect. Mirror trading is not offered to U.S. persons or in sanctioned regions.
