Risk Disclosure

The main risks of trading crypto-assets, derivatives, stocks, ETFs and commodities with Foxy Pro, copy trading and AI.

Effective: October 30, 2026 · Version 2026-10-30

In plain words
  • You can lose all the money you use, and fast. With leverage, a small price move can wipe out a position.
  • Copying a trader or following Foxy does not make a trade safe. Most traders lose money over time.
  • Only use money you can afford to lose.

1. Trading is high risk

Prices of crypto-assets, derivatives, stocks, ETFs, commodities and other instruments can move sharply and unpredictably, and can fall to zero. Markets can close, gap or become illiquid, so orders may not fill at the price you expect or at all. You can lose part or all of the money you trade. This document does not list every risk; read it with the Terms of Use.

Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose, borrowed money or money you need for living costs. If you are unsure, get advice from a licensed adviser who knows your situation.

2. Leverage, futures and perpetual contracts

Together and other features can open leveraged futures and perpetual positions, using the highest leverage the exchange allows that keeps the liquidation price beyond the stop. Leverage makes gains and losses larger. A small move against you can liquidate the position and lose the margin behind it; in cross margin, losses can use the rest of your futures balance. Funding payments, fees and spreads reduce results, and fast markets, gaps, auto-deleveraging or exchange outages can cause losses larger than planned.

3. Copy trading and signals

  • Creators are independent. Their skill, intentions and results are not checked or guaranteed by BottomUP. A Creator can change style, take larger risks, stop posting or act against your interests.
  • Your copy will not match the Creator's trade exactly: entry and exit prices, timing, size, fees, funding and slippage differ, and some trades are not copied at all.
  • Copies act automatically in Auto Mode and Surf Mode. Several open copies can lose at the same time, and limits on risk per trade do not cap your total loss.
  • Strong past results attract followers just before results often fall back. Creator prices and rankings follow recent results and may change quickly.
  • Creators and BottomUP may earn more when you trade more (see "How BottomUP earns money" in the Terms).

4. Foxy Shield, Foxy Tracing and other protections

Shield, Tracing, stop-losses, drawdown limits and risk limits are automated tools that lower risk; they do not remove it. They can be wrong, act late, block a trade that would have won or let through one that loses, and they depend on data, the exchange and our systems working.

5. AI-generated content

Foxy's answers, reports, levels, plans and ratings are produced by AI models from data that can be incomplete or delayed. AI can be confidently wrong, misread data or invent facts. It does not know your full financial situation and is not a licensed adviser.

6. Paper, simulated and past results

Paper trading, backtests and the hypothetical $10,000 account used to show Creator results are not real trading. They do not reflect real fills, liquidity, fees, funding, slippage or the emotional pressure of real money, and are designed with the benefit of hindsight. Past and simulated results do not predict future results.

7. Exchange and technology risk

Your assets are held by your exchange, not by BottomUP. Exchanges can suffer hacks, outages, insolvency, frozen withdrawals, account restrictions or regulatory action. API keys can be misused if your accounts are compromised. The internet, the exchange's systems, data feeds and our systems can fail or be delayed, so orders can be missed, delayed, duplicated or rejected.

8. Crypto-asset specific risks

Crypto-assets are not legal tender, are generally not protected by deposit insurance or investor compensation schemes, and can be affected by forks, protocol failures, smart contract bugs, stablecoin de-pegging, network congestion, manipulation and thin liquidity. On-chain transactions, for example with an agentic wallet, are usually irreversible.

10. Your acknowledgement

By ticking the Risk Disclosure box you confirm that you have read and understood these risks, that you make your own decisions, and that you accept the risk of losing the money you trade.
